Multi Eventers shine for Essex Schools

Club multi eveners shone for Essex Schools helping the county teams qualify for the national final in September. Ome Nwapa won the inter heptathlon, and Oma Nwapa, Amy Mansell & Maggie Smith were 2nd, 3rd & 5th in the senior event. Josh Buxton was 3rd in the inter Octathlon & Abigail Adegite 4th in the junior pentathlon.-->  REPORT & RESULTS

Four medals at South Age Group Champs

Club athletes came away with five medals and PBs at the South of England Age Group Championships at Chelmsford. Sam Johnson won U18 shot gold, and Ameer Salaam won silver in the U16 shot. William Hiles won U14 silver in the shot & discus. Romel Semper won U18 100m bronze. --> REPORT & RESULTS

Freddie Rowe wins UK U18 trial 

Freddie Rowe confirmed his status as the UK Number 1 Under 18 at 1500m when he won the British selection trial for the European Under 18 Championships, held with the Welsh championships at Cardiff. As the top ranked athlete in Europe Freddie can expect selection for the GB Team. --> REPORT

SAL Team battle for points at Eton

Havering’s Southern League team found the going tough against strong opposition at Eton on Sunday & despite the best efforts of the small team came sixth.
