Age group silver for Ameer at Bedford

Ameer Salaam added to his impressive medal tally when he won U16 shot silver at the England Athletics Age Group Championships at Bedford to add to his English Schools and Schools International silvers. SAL team face uphill battle

A 6th place finish for the Southern League team at Little Marlow on Sunday gives the squad an uphill battle to hold onto their Division 1 place. There proceedings were overshadowed by a freak incident during the men’s 1500m which saw the race abandoned when the metal pole vault bed cover was blown across the track.--> REPORT & RESULTS

Freddie Rowe wins Euro Under 18 gold 

Freddie Rowe lived up to his top billing when he won 1500m gold for Great Britain at the European Under 18 Championships in Rieti, Italy on Sunday as his GB colleague Alastair Street came through for silver.
