Freddie Rowe close to four minute mile
Just eight days after winning the London Mini Marathon Freddie Rowe came close to breaking the four minute mile landmark, at the Iffley Road track Oxford that saw Sir Roger Bannister break the record in 1953. Running at the Bannister Miles Meeting Freddie came from behind in the home straight to clock 4m 00.88s to win the elite men’s A race. --> REPORT

Freddie Rowe: London Mini marathon win
Freddie Rowe came up trumps with victory in the TCS London Mini Marathon U18M event on Saturday crossing the line ahead of Bromley’s Joe Scanes to win the British Road Race Challenge as well as the London Boroughs Challenge. Sam Atkins was the fastest club member in Sunday’s main marathon clocking a good 2:44:29 seconds. -->
