Seniors star in Essex XC League round 2

The senior teams again starred at the 2nd round of the Essex Cross Country League was held at One Tree Hill on Saturday. There was a dominant team win for the senior men & an individual win in the senior women’s race for Maddie Barker as the team’s 2nd place kept their lead in the league table -->  REPORT & RESULTS

Strong start to Essex XC League

There were great turnouts as over 60 club athletes tackled the first of the five Essex Cross Country League fixtures in bright but windy conditions at a hilly Hylands Park, Chelmsford course on Saturday. There were team wins for both senior squads as Kate O’Neill led the women home and James Stewart was third for the senior men. --> REPORT & RESULTS

Report on Members' survey published

Earlier this year we carried out a member survey - the report is attached. The results indicate that the club is performing very well in its core mission (coaching and athlete experience), but investment in infrastructure & operational improvements are suggested to maintain & enhance standards.--> REPORT

Five in English Schools Multi Events

Five club all-rounders excelled for the Essex Schools team at the English Schools Combined Events Championships at Bedford. Amy Mansell & Oma Nwapa were 13th & 16th in the senior girls heptathlon, Ome Nwapa  18th in the Inter equivalent, Josh Buxton 20th in the Inter Octathlon and Abigail Adegite 11th in the junior pentathlon. --> REPORT & RESULTS​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
