Strong finish from SAL team at Woodford

The short-handed Havering Southern League team recovered from a disappointing start to finish strongly to edge rivals Chelmsford into sixth place by a single point at Woodford on Saturday. Over 40 medals at Essex Champs

Freddie Rowe close to four minute mile 

Just eight days after winning the London Mini Marathon Freddie Rowe came close to breaking the four minute mile landmark, at the Iffley Road track Oxford that saw Sir Roger Bannister break the record in 1954. Running at the Bannister Miles Meeting Freddie came from behind in the home straight to clock 4m 00.88s to win the elite men’s A race. --> REPORT

Big win for YDL U14/U16s at opener
